Overthinking has a way of bringing everything to a complete standstill. It’s easy to tell ourselves we need to be completely fearless or guaranteed success before making a move, but the truth is, the “perfect moment” isn’t coming. There is a high cost to waiting for perfection. When we hold out until conditions are 100% perfect before taking a step, we end up stuck in a cycle of overthinking. Overthinking has a way of bringing everything to a complete standstill. It’s easy to tell ourselves we need to be completely fearless or guaranteed success before making a move, but the truth is, the "perfect moment" isn't coming. You don't have to wait for zero fear—when you see that green light, it’s time to move full steam ahead! There is a high cost to waiting for perfection. When we hold out until conditions are 100% perfect before taking a step, we end up stuck in a cycle of overthinking. Progress happens when you stop waiting for perfect alignment and just start taking action. How often do you catch yourself being your own harshest critic? Self-doubt has a habit of creeping in uninvited and trying to pull up a chair in your mind. But here’s the key: it’s just a visitor. When doubt tries to stay awhile, reminding yourself of the bigger picture—and why you started in the first place—gives you the strength to say, "We got this." A big part of overcoming doubt is learning to stop waiting for permission. Whether it’s family, friends, or outside validation, waiting for others to approve your goals only holds you back. If you feel ready and passionate about something, it’s time to take action! Nobody enjoys making mistakes or dealing with unexpected mishaps, but they serve as a gentle reminder that we’re human—imperfect, growing, and constantly learning. The best part? Our mishaps don’t just teach us lessons—they can help others grow through their own journeys, too. Whether it’s changing jobs, moving, evolving relationships, or health shifts, accepting that nothing stays static is one of life’s biggest challenges. I sat down with Reggie to talk about how embracing constant change—and building a toolkit of backup plans—can help turn anxiety into peace when navigating life's unexpected turns. No two experiences are ever truly identical, even when you go to the exact same place or repeat the same routine ✈️✨. Reggie reflects on how even frequent travel—like passing out as soon as the plane engine starts—always brings something new because every moment and destination holds its own unique feel. Sometimes we get so caught up reading the room that we forget we have the power to shape the energy in it ✨. Whether we realize it or not, how we show up can change an environment for good or bad—and my hope is always to bring the kind of positive energy that makes people glad I walked in! 💫
