    September 24, 2026

“I’m just learning to be okay with Michelle and who she is right now… because we evolve.” ✨🙌 In this clip from Tricks My Dog Taught Me, Michelle shares powerful wisdom on self-acceptance, growth, and surrendering control. From recognizing how much we change from decade to decade to embracing present-day flaws and strengths, she opens… →

  •  If I can get people to like me, maybe bullies won’t bully me… 💭✨

    September 12, 2026

In this clip from Tricks My Dog Taught Me, I’m sharing a personal reflection with Quinn about how my younger self tried to use people-pleasing as a shield against getting hurt. Overcoming that mindset and learning that it’s okay if not everyone likes you takes real time and growth—and it’s a huge milestone once you… →

  • Why do you need everyone to like you? Realistically, not everybody is ever going to like you. 💡

    September 6, 2026

Quinn brings a fresh perspective to the table in this clip from Tricks My Dog Taught Me, questioning why we put so much pressure on ourselves to win over everyone. When you’re navigating heavy emotions or big life changes, it’s easy to make blanket statements like “nobody likes me”—but looking at the bigger picture shows… →

When you lose a parent or face a major life change, it can feel like losing your ultimate grounding force. Reggie opens up about how losing his mother triggered sudden travel panic attacks, and how understanding what’s happening in the brain—along with grounding exercises—helped him refocus and overcome that fear. 🧠✨ It might sound simple—or even like something out of a Disney movie ✨—but taking a few seconds to just look up at the sky and observe the twinkling stars can bring so much calm and grounding when life feels busy. 🌌🌌 Grief doesn't always show up how or when we expect it to. 💔 Reggie shares a vulnerable moment about how, after losing his mother, he unexpectedly began experiencing debilitating panic attacks and intense anxiety while traveling and navigating major life transitions. Growth happens when you step out of your shell and take risks 💫. I asked Reggie how he’s seen our dynamic evolve while keeping our core bond intact, and he shared such a meaningful perspective on watching me step into my confidence, take big leaps, and travel the world over the years. You have way too much personality, talent, and life in you to ever bottle it up or hold it back ✨. As Reggie points out, allowing yourself to share your authentic gifts with the world is a beautiful thing—and there’s always even more waiting to come out! 🌟 Many people rely solely on job-provided health or life insurance without realizing those benefits usually end when you leave the job. After caring for his mother through her 20-year journey with multiple sclerosis, Reggie learned firsthand why long-term care and independent financial planning are so vital. Nothing is ever truly the same twice 🐾✨. When I take my dog Zack on walks, he’ll stop at a spot that looks identical to me, but he senses that something has changed. It’s taught me to slow down and become far more cognizant of the subtle details and shifts in the world around us. Cracking Open: Why True Vulnerability Unlocks Deeper Personal Connections I always jokingly describe myself as an "introverted extrovert" who became more outgoing over time through interacting with others. For me, it’s less about just reading the room and more about reading how individual people can impact an environment—whether for good or bad. 💡
