  • I’m Hungry for What I’m Hungry For”: Staying Focused on Your Personal Journey

    November 6, 2026

When you’re locked into your fitness or personal journey, people will always have commentary about how you eat, work, or live 💪. When they ask “Ain’t you hungry?”, my answer is always: I’m good. I’m hungry for what I’m hungry for! You have to sniff out the right inputs—both literal and figurative—that actually get you… →

  • Staying on the Hunt: Why Being Strong Means Remaining Coachable

    November 2, 2026

I always want to stay locked in and on the hunt, pulling so hard toward my goals that people are shocked by the drive 💪. But staying hungry also means staying humble. Whether in fitness or business, whenever I meet someone highly skilled, I don’t assume I have all the answers—I compliment them and pick… →

  • Facing the Box Jump: What Physical Challenges Teach Us About Mental Comfort Zones

    October 29, 2026

The first time I faced a box jump, the fear of falling was completely real—and I almost convinced myself I wasn’t ready. It took an outside push to realize I was just waiting to feel 100% comfortable, which almost held me back from accomplishing my goal. What’s a physical or mental “box jump” you’ve had… →

When you're locked into your fitness or personal journey, people will always have commentary about how you eat, work, or live 💪. When they ask "Ain't you hungry?", my answer is always: I'm good. I'm hungry for what I'm hungry for! You have to sniff out the right inputs—both literal and figurative—that actually get you closer to your target. Sometimes the exact opportunity, person, or connection we've been praying for is sitting right under our noses, but we walk right by because it's not served the way we wanted! 🥦 You might want potato chips, but life hands you raw potatoes. If eating a few "brussel sprouts" gets you closer to what you're truly hungry for, you have to learn how to stomach them to reach the goal. Have we lost our survival instincts when it comes to staying hungry? 🐾 Too many of us stand around waiting for the "metaphorical refrigerator" of life to open up and automatically hand us our goals on a silver platter. Realizing that no magical door is going to automatically replenish your opportunities is the exact moment you figure out how hungry you really are. Right now, I'm hungry to level up my fitness, hone my writing, and really unleash my artistic side.🎨💪 But identifying what you're hungry for is only step one—the real work is focusing on the long term and being intentional about what you choose to consume (or not consume) every day to get there. Buffets can be a total hit or miss—especially when people start using their fingers instead of the tongs! 🍽️ But beyond waiting for that fresh tray to come out, there’s a real mindset lesson hidden in the buffet line:wanting to make sure you get your full money’s worth out of what you consume and invest in. Zack wants his food, my food, and anyone else’s in the house if he thinks he can get it! 🐶 He’ll drop his own meal just to flash those puppy dog eyes at me, my husband, or my daughter to score a scrap from us—only to race back and finish his own bowl after! It made me think about how often we eye what everyone else has before finishing what’s on our own plate. It’s easy to chase dessert first and jump straight to instant gratification 🍰, but over time, filling up on "junk food" catches up with you and stops serving your goals. Regardless of how hungry you are for success, you have to be mindful of what you're actually consuming—mentally and physically—so you stay fueled for what matters most. Some people might scoff at catering to a dog's dietary wants, but my Toy Poodle Zack will literally hold out for days if it’s something he doesn’t want to eat! 🐩 I’ll tell him "I know you're hungry," and he’ll just give me that side-eye like, "Nah, I’m good—I’m not that hungry." It’s a hilarious reminder of how selective we can choose to be when something doesn't align with what we really desire. Hungry for What? Why the Object of Your Drive Matters Just as Much as the Hustle
